TULAD NG DATI The Movie

I am so excited!!!! I want to head to SM Megamall right now and watch The Dawn's indie film TULAD NG DATI. I was not able to watch this movie last year (wala kasi ata akong kasama nung time na yun).. Unfortunately, Megan is sooo busy today so we have to cancel our date...*Sigh...I hope tomorrow I can see Francis Brew Reyes's superb(?) acting: "HIndi ako si Teddy!!" Hehe..

For all those The Dawn and Pinoy Rock fans out there, I suggest that you should watch this 2006 Cinemalaya Best Film.

TULAD NG DATI follows the current exploits of the Filipino rock band, The Dawn, composed of Teddy Diaz, JB Leonor, Caloy Balcells and Jett Pangan. During the second half of the 1980s, the band had risen to become the most influential musical rock group of the time. At the height of their popularity, their leader, Teddy Diaz is murdered. The remaining members decide to continue on with the music but eventually disband in 1996. In 2003, The Dawn reunited. Tulad ng Dati starts in 2006. It revolves around the character of Jett Pangan who is nearing his forties. Jett has lost his passion for music and life and entertains thoughts of retiring from the band. On a fateful night, Jett is assaulted by a burglar and goes into a coma. He wakes up with no memory of his life after 1988. He remembers that he is 20 years old and is at the peak of his career with The Dawn. Not satisfied with how things turned out with his life, he tries to change everything back to the way it used to be. The path he takes while finding his place in this strange new world proves itself to be a tough, emotional, and sometimes hilarious journey-accompanied by the celebrated music of The Dawn, both past and present. --Written by Cinemalaya 2006

May mga tao talaga na di naman intensyong magpatawa pero nakakatawa tulad ni Mariana*. Sana hindi na lang niya masyadong pinipilit at sana wag na siyang masyadong magmaganda (at isipin at mag-feeling na may authority siya). Excited na ako sa mga susunod na mangyayari. Gusto kong matawa ulet. Sana kausapin niya kami ulet kasi effortless ang pagiging stand-up comedienne niya. Sobra!!! Basta, stof it flease!

The Product of a Headache

I can feel that the veins in my head are raging again. I dunno why. Maybe because I wasn't able to sleep well last night or it's the effect of the Coke Float that I just had. Whatever caused it, I hate it. But I am sure that a cough syrup, whether an expectorant or a suppressant, cannot stop this headache. Nice first post, huh? I used to have a blog on my Friendster account, but Meganhahaha encouraged me to create a new one here.
