AI and PBB

This season's American Idol has a lot of interesting contestants. Unfortunately, its becoming more of a popularity contest. Hmmm.. Wasn't able to see last night's show so I went to youtube and watched the top ten.

*Ramiele (Alone) - love the song but too much shouting. i like it better when carly sang it

*David A. (Youre the Voice)- don't really like him

*David C. (Bille Jean)- i like his version of Billie Jean. at first i thought the song wasn't popular..then he sang the chorus. nice

*Chikezie (If Only for One Night) - he has a nice voice but he lacks star quality. hehe

*Jason (Fragile)- cool dreads. cute face. so-so in singing

*Brooke (Every Breath You Take) - nice one. she reminds of sheryl crow.

*Syesha (If I Were Your Woman) - she really has a great voice. and she nailed that (performance).

*Carly (Total Eclipse of The Heart) - love her big, husky voice. i think singing the 80s songs is her forte. remember Alone?

*Michael (Queen Remix) - he's my AI crush. haha. he sucked last week (i must admit) but he did well last night

*Kristy Lee - no comment. she's always terrible.

The episode of PBB Teen Edition Plus last night was funny. Even though Big Brother sorta have a fetish for Visayan teens this season, I like the kids in the house today. I still haven't memorized all the contestants' names (not that I really want to memorize them)..There was this guy last night (the one from Italy) who is still uncircumsized. And he wants to undergo tuli/tule. Haha. The boys still have no plans of telling the girls about it but for sure all the teens outside the PBB house were all laughing in their households.

Sari-sari

I really don't have anything coherent to write. I just want to make an entry after a long hiatus. The last post that I made was ka-bitteran so I want to write something new para di naman yun lang ang maalala saken ng very very very few readers ng blog. ko. Hehe.

My four-day vacation was quite boring. I had no summer shebang that time so I just spent the long weekend at home. Kahit naman siguro meron akong summer shebang di rin ako pupunta kasi my mom was just discharged from hospital last week. After her raspa (an operation in the uterus) two weeks ago, she was rushed to hospital again because her tummy was terribly aching.

After her biopsy, the doctors found out that she has gastritis. But she's okay now. Medications lang gagaling na siya. Ang nakakainis lang, her doctor advised her to undergo biopsy months ago pa pala. She got scared because according to the doctor she had to swallow a capsule that is connected to a tube. The capsule would get a sample of tissue from her body for examination. So parang ganito:

To make the vacation fun, my mom and I bonded na lang through watching Star Cinema movies. Although we have already seen them, we still watched them:

It was actually fun though my mom kept on asking me, "Bakit mo alam yung mangyayari?" in the middle of every film. It was a great bonding. :D

Hmmm..what else? My editor said that our boss will talk to me later. About what? I dunno. I'm scarrred.....

Ja Asked, Me Answer

Maybe because I haven't cried enough
Maybe because I don't talk about it as much as I have to
Maybe because I haven't been sufficiently pathetic
Maybe..maybe..

You Must Accept
by Kate Light

You must accept that’s who he really is.
You must accept you cannot be his
unless he is yours. No compromise.
He is a canvas on which paint never dries;
a clay that never sets, steel that bends
in a breeze, a melody that when it ends
no one can whistle. He is not who
you thought. He’s not. He is a shoe
that walks away: “I will not go where you
want to go.” “Why, then, are you a shoe?”
“I’m not. I have the sole of a lover
but don’t know what love is.” “Discover
it, then.” “Will I have to go where you go?”
“Sometimes.” “Be patient with you?” “Yes.” “Then, no.”
You have to hear what he is telling you
and see what he is; how it is killing you.

Let It Be

Let It Be is not my ultimate favorite Beatles song. Maybe because I don’t speak words of wisdom. I like Hey Jude more because I love singing the “Na-nananananana nananana, Hey Jude” part. A few days ago while listening to some music in my laptop (it’s not actually mine. It’s the office property but since I use it I use “my”), I heard Beatles’ For No One.

Your day breaks, your mind aches
You find that all her words of kindness linger on
When she no longer needs you

She wakes up, she makes up
She takes her time and doesn't
feel she has to hurry
She no longer needs you

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years!

You want her, you need her
And yet you don't believe her when
she says her love is dead
You think she needs you

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years!

You stay home, she goes out
She says that long ago she knew
someone but now he's gone
She doesn't need him

Your day breaks, your mind aches
There will be times when all
the things she says will fill
your head
You won't forget her

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

The words just hit me...

Maybe I should just Let It Be.

An Action-Packed Morning

He was saying something like, “Naku mga limang gas stations pa dapat kong daanan para mapalitan itong limang daan.”

Well, after ilang minutes nasuklian naman niya ko in all fairness.

So nasaan yung aksyon?

A ok.

Sa pagaakalang he’ll pull over and negotiate with the MMDA guys, hala, he stepped on the gas at kumaripas siya ng takbo.

Kuya was driving like crazy na.

DOTC, specifically the Road Transport division, kumusta naman.
